The CBM1 retail leasing + sales team convened at K1 Speed last week for our always raucous annual holiday party – Taking the same market-dominating passion we bring to every deal and putting it to the test on the track for a little inter-agency bragging rights.
Unsurprisingly, competition was fierce among the eight racers at the state-of-the-art, 2-story go-kart track (recently opened in Downtown Culver City). The mid-race bumping and jostling for position, thundering collisions with the side walls, and squealing spinouts were many over the three-race circuit.
In true Top Dog form, Co-Managing Principal Dave O’Connell handily won all three 12-lap contests. Vice Presidents David Guardado (with the fastest single lap of the day) + Daniel Barriga weren’t far behind, and joined Dave on the awards podium, receiving the 2nd and 3rd Place trophies.
While the fast-paced racing was undeniably a total blast! The opportunity to gather and celebrate another successful year, and to welcome the bright future ahead, was by far the outing’s most meaningful moments.
