CBM1’s Geoff Grossman recently completed a lease with A-Max Insurance on retail space in a corner shopping center. Situated at the signalized intersection of Florence Avenue and Figueroa Avenue, one block from the 110 freeway access at Flower Street in the heart of South Los Angeles. The center shares the heavily trafficked intersection with McDonald’s and Burger King drive-thru locations along with two additional bustling retail properties, and the center’s co-tenants include Little Caesar’s Pizza and Money Gram.

Dallas, TX-based A-Max Insurance brokerage was founded in 2002, and with sights set on achieving a nationwide presence, the organization has steadily expanded since its initial launch. A-Max acquired Sameday Insurance, a Southern California-based insurance company with a dozen locations throughout the region, in 2022. In an aggressive expansion mode, the brokerage has recently leased or is negotiating agreements with CBM1 on several additional A-Max locations.

Located amid one of greater Los Angeles’ most densely populated areas, over half a million residents live within a half-mile radius of the property. The site is also surrounded by a variety of major retailers and several sizable schools.
