CBM1’s Michael Nitti completed a lease with the Kawaii Boba Teahouse on a +/-1,500 SF retail space at the busy Stater Brothers grocery anchored Fairway Plaza shopping center. The well-located property’s A+ co-tenants include Stater Brothers, Wells Fargo, H&R Block, and Far East Bank. Located directly across Colima Road is Canyon Point Marketplace, a sprawling shopping center anchored by Market 168 and Diaso Discount store. The center’s additional co-tenants include Starbucks, Yogurtland, UPS Store, and Kopan Sushi & Ramen.
Kawaii’s soon-to-open Rowland Heights store marks the teahouse’s second location, expanding from its first site in nearby Fullerton. Very well reviewed on Yelp and Google, Kawaii’s menu includes a wide variety of milk and fruit teas, smoothies, and slushies, along with hot teas and coffee, and light snacks ranging from waffles to specialty fries to fried calamari and eggrolls.
Just south of the 60 freeway, the property is surrounded by a dense warren of residential neighborhoods. Colima Road is a major area thoroughfare, connecting central Rowland Heights with the outer subdivisions surrounding Royal Vista Golf Club.
