CBM1’s Andrea Cronin just completed a lease with the Selkie apparel brand to occupy a creative flex space on Dayton Street in Pasadena, a block west of Fair Oaks Avenue, Castle Green, and Central Park in an urban neighborhood featuring a mix of multi-family developments and commercial properties.
Launched by fashion designer Kimberly Gordon, former Wildfox co-founder, Selkie is a women’s clothing brand known for its unique and whimsical ready-to-wear party dresses, bridal apparel, and swimwear, inspired by Irish, Scottish, Icelandic, and Scandinavian folklore. The hugely popular line claims numerous celebrity admirers, including Paris Hilton, actresses Nicola Coughlan and Julia Fox, and a plethora of Bravo channel reality TV stars.
“Along with a headquarters for her brand, Kimberley [Gordon, the designer] is also using the space to create a new line that will be launched in 2026/2027,” says CBM1’s Andrea Cronin, the leasing agent representing the tenant. Further, Cronin notes: “The management team has eventual plans to use the space as periodic pop-up retail stores.” A strategy that takes full advantage of the site’s exceptional positioning in a neighborhood that seamlessly blends residential and commercial properties.
