CBM1’s Geoff Grossman recently completed a lease with Taste of the Caribbean restaurant on an +/-1,890 SF space formerly occupied by Little Coyote Pizza in a freestanding retail pad building at Los Coyotes Diagonal and Palo Verde Avenue.
Taste of the Caribbean restaurant was launched by Chef Bernard James, a native of Guyana and experienced restaurant operator who previously founded a popular Caribbean-theme eatery in Corlette, New York, before migrating to the West Coast. The Long Beach site marks Taste of the Caribbean restaurant’s second location, expanding from its first restaurant at Santa Monica Boulevard near Gower Street in the heart of Hollywood.
Positioned at the tip of a unique, triangular-shaped shopping center, situated between Los Coyotes Diagonal, Palos Verde Avenue, and Wardlow Road, the site is directly across from an enormous Ralph’s supermarket. Boasting outstanding area demographics, +/-200,000+ residents earning an average annual household income of more than $100,000 live within a 5-mile radius of the property.
