CBM1’s Dave O’Connell recently completed a lease with XēBA BOTáNICA, a boutique skincare product maker on +/-1,340 SF street retail space on Sunset Boulevard west of Echo Park Avenue in the heart of LA’s trendy Echo Park neighborhood.
XēBA BOTáNICA, founded by Rachel Bibbee and Daniel Olvera, produces a line of organic, plant-based skincare products sold online and in exclusive branded retail shops. What began as a fun experience in home-making personal care products for the pair’s own use evolved into a startup that combined Daniel’s business and agriculture background with Rachel’s education in biology and chemistry. After years of refining and perfecting their product line – all hand-crafted in-house using organic plant-based materials and plastic-free packaging – the founding partners launched XēBA BOTáNICA in 2020. The Echo Park store is their second retail outlet, expanding from their original Pioneertown location in the high desert near Joshua Tree.
The property is situated in northeast Los Angeles, a steadily gentrifying locale marked by a surging influx of hip cafes, exclusive boutiques, and popular night spots.
