Founded as TracfOne Wireless in 2015, the cellular provider was rebranded as Total By Verizon when the operator was acquired by Verizon in 2022. Primarily franchise-driven, Total Wireless celebrated opening its 2,000th store in January 2026. With 196 locations in California, the company aims to open 5,000 locations nationwide at a rate of 3 new stores per day.
Situated a block from the 5 freeway and a block east of the major intersection of Telegraph Road and Rosemead Boulevard, along an active retail corridor, and surrounded by densely populated neighborhoods with nearly 650,000 residents earning an average household income in excess of $100,000 within a 5-mile radius.
